The SLED (Sentry Longitudinal Energy Dissipater) is a narrow, water-filled, non-redirective gating crash cushion built to shield the blunt ends of permanent and temporary barriers — concrete, steel, and plastic alike. It installs without foundation anchoring and uses four internal steel cables to help capture an impacting vehicle and limit secondary incidents.
Each of these units has been previously deployed and removed from the roadside. All four are offered as complete systems, including the connecting pins, connecting hardware, and concrete barrier attachment hardware needed to redeploy.
